Kathmandu, Nepal, November 3, 2020: Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation in Nepal Nona Diprez paid a courtesy call to the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at latter’s official residence in Baluwatar on Monday.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Oli expressed his confidence to strengthen the collaboration and cooperation between Nepal and the EU in the coming days. Bilateral relations would further strengthen during Diprez’s term in Nepal, Prime Minister Oli said during the meeting.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli also thanked the EU for its support in various areas of cooperation including in the prevention and response of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Responding to the concern, Head of the EU delegation Deprez expressed commitment to continue the cooperation that is being provided since the past. Likewise, Deprez also expressed his intention of further collaboration between Nepal and EU in the areas of climate change and other sectors.
