Kathmandu, Nepal: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that the government would soon bring the culprit (s) to justice. He made such a claim while visiting the injured and family members of the deceased Singh Prasad Gurung, 49, from Lamjung district at Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur on Saturday.
Gurung lost his lives while other two injured when an improvised device had exploded outside of the Ncell Headquarters in Nakkhu, Lalitpur on Friday night. Urusha Manandhar, 25, from Kavre and Pratiksha Khadka, 26, from Bagdol were seriously injured in the incident.
Seriously injured Gurung breathed his last during the course of treatment in Mediciti Hospital at around 1 am on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Minister Thapa said that the government will provide compensation to the family of the deceased and bear all costs of treatment of the injured.
An explosive detonated outside the gate of the Ncell headquarters had exploded at around 7:30 pm on Friday. It is said that seven persons have been arrested in suspicion of linkage with the incident. However, the group and motive behind the explosion is yet to be ascertained.
