Kathmandu, Nepal: The home secretaries of Nepal and India are going to meet in New Delhi on Tuesday to discuss key cross-border security related issues.

During the meeting discussion will be held on ranges of issues related to the bilateral relationship including the extradition treaty, border infrastructure, maintenance of boundary pillars and drug trafficking.

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak said adding that the meeting will discuss issues related to cross-border crimes, border management, maintenance of boundary pillars, trafficking of drugs and humans across the border, and joint patrolling and surveillance of bordering areas adding as that the meeting would to be fruitful on mutual legal assistance to information and intelligence sharing.

It is fixed that Home Secretary Gokarna Mani Duwadi and his Indian counterpart Govind Mohan will lead their respective delegations to the meeting. Other delegate members from several line ministries will also be participating in the meeting.
