Kathmanndu, Nepal, August 4, 2020: Co-chair of the ruling head Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has expressed his determination that he will complete his remaining tenure of two and half years as the Prime Minister of Nepal.
I will return at home after completing my remaining tenure of two and half years as the Prime Minister, Oli said while responding to the question raised by his close confidents at his Balkot of Bhaktapur based Private resident on Monday.
Oli’s statement over the issue of his remaining tenure as Prime Minister is taken importantly as it has come at the time when the ruling head NCP has faced a serious internal differences after dissident faction led by executive chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been demanding his resignation either from the post of Prime Minister or party’s chair.
Prime Minister Oli had left his Baluwatar of Kathmandu based official residence for his private residence in Balkot with his wife, Radhika, to mark the Hindu festival of Rakshya Bandhan. During his about half hour stay, he had shared his viewpoints over the internal rift of the party with his close aids including Gokul Baskota and Mahesh Basnet.
