Kathmandu, Nepal, November 4, 2020: Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane arrived in Kathmandu on a three-day visit at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart General Purna Chandra Thapa on Wednesday. 

Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Prabhu Ram Sharma received Naravane led four member Indian Army delegation at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday afternoon.

Naravane is scheduled to be conferred upon the rank of an honorary General of the Nepali Army by President Bidya Devi Bhandari. As of the tradition, he will be conferred amid a ceremony to be held at Sheetal Niwas at 4 pm on Thursday. 

Likewise, he is also scheduled to hold meeting with Prime Minister K Sharma Oli. 

He is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Thapa on Thursday as well.
