Kathmandu, Nepal: Inter-Provincial Council meeting has decided to form a five-member working committee under the leadership of Minister for Home Affairs, Ram Bahadur Thapa to assess existing challenges of provincial governments.
Finance Minister Yubaraj Khatiwada, Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lalbabu Pandit, chief minister of Province 5 Shankar Pokhrel and chief minister of Province 2 Lalbabu Raut have been named as members of the committee. Chief Secretary Lok Darshan Regmi has been appointed as the member secretary of the committee.
The committee has been tasked to recommend the findings to address the existing challenges of provincial governments in the next Inter-Provincial Council meeting slated for December 18.
