Kathmandu, Nepal, July 29, 2019: Lawmakers representing to the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) and Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJPN) obstructed the proceedings of the House of Representatives on Monday demanding the formation of a parliamentary committee to probe the Sarlahi incident.
As the parliamentarians stood up from their respective seats as soon as the meeting began, the meeting was not move forward. The parliamentarians chanted slogans demanding immediate formation of a parliamentary probe committee to investigate the incident that a protester was shot dead by police while launching protest demanding probe into a murder suspect case.
