Kathmandu, Nepal, October 27, 2019: Laxmi Pooja, the third day of Yamapanchak or Tihar festival is being celebrated by worshipping the goddess of wealth, affluence and prosperity today.
On the day, people worship the cows regarding it as the goddess Laxmi. Likewise, people clean their houses and surrounding, illuminate their homes and light butter lamps to 'invite' the goddess Laxmi to their homes.
Likewise, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended best wishes to all Nepalese at home and abroad on the auspicious occasion of Tihar festival.
