Kathmandu, Nepal, September 4, 2021: The leaders of the ruling allies held discussions even on Saturday to discuss over the issue of cabinet expansion.
All the leaders of the ruling allies including CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal were invited in the meeting.
Likewise, speaker of Hose of Representatives (HoR) Agni Prasad Sapkota was also invited in the meeting. The meeting was held at Prime Minister Deuba's official resident at Baluwatar on Saturday morning.
Though the leaders of the ruling have repeatedly been meeting with the aim to reach on consensus on contentions issues related to the cabinet expansion, no agreement is made yet, thanks to the respective claims for the ‘lucrative’ ministries.
It is said that ruling allies have failed even to reach on consensus over the issue of division of ministries.
