Hetauda, Nepal, June 25, 2020: Lightning strike killed at least six persons-four in Saptari and two in Makwanpur district on Thursday.
The persons died due to the lighting strike in Saptari district identified as Chhedi Thakur, 60 and Bechan Yadav, 27, from Mahadev Rural Municipality-2.
Likewise, two women lost lives due to the lighting strike in Dakneshwari Municipality-9 of same district, police said. However, the details of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
Similarly, Samjhana Ghising, 17, and Bina Ghising, 25, from Bakaiya Rural Municipality were killed by lightning in Makwanpur district.
