Kathmandu, Nepal, August 9, 2022: Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) has expressed its interests to join in the incumbent coalition of the government for the upcoming elections to the provincial assemblies and House of Representatives slated for November 20. 


LSP leaders including its Chairman Mahanta Thakur expressed their desire to be a part of the incumbent coalition government during the meeting with Prime Minister and Nepali Congress president Deuba. 

Almost all the senior leaders including its Chairman Thakur had reached at Prime Minister Deuba’s official resident, Baluwatar on Sunday evening so as to express their desire to be a part of the incumbent coalition. 

It is said that Prime Minister Deuba also seems positive to include the LSP as a coalition partner. As the LSP have also holding discussions with the main opposition CPN UML to forge electoral alliance in the upcoming elections, the ruling allies have reached in the conclusion even to participate it in the government.

The five party ruling allies- Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center) CPN (United Socialist), Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal and Rastriya Janamorcha have already decided to forge electoral alliance in the upcoming elections.
