Kathmandu, Nepal, March 8, 2022: The CPN (Maoist Center) has nominated 50 members to the Central Committee. A meeting of the Maoist Central Committee held in Kathmandu on Monday nominated 50 out of the 97 members.

Among the newly nominated Central Committee members, two were from the party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s family. Dahal’s daughter Ganga Dahal and son-in-law Jeevan Acharya have been nominated as the Central Committee member.

Altogether four members of Dahal’s family have become the Central Committee member of the Maoist Center. His brother Narayan Dahal and daughter-in-low Bina Magar had already been appointed as the Central Committee members.

Though the Central Committee meeting agreed upon the name of 50 central committee members, remaining 49 will be nominated from the next meeting, leader Barshaman Pun, who is close confident of chairman Dahal, said after the meeting.
