Pokhara, Nepal: The mortal remains of late Tourism Minister Rabindra Adhikari is airlifted to his home town Pokhara on Friday.
A condolence event is being organized at the Exhibition Centre in Pokhara to offer last tribute to late Adhikari before performing last rites at Ramghat of Pokhara.
It is said that last rites will be performed with state honor. Senior leaders of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) including Bam Dev Gautam are also joining in the last rites event.
NCP youth leader Adhikari was elected the member of House of Representatives from Kaski Constituency-2.
Minister Adhikari and six others were killed in chopper crash in Taplejung on Wednesday.
