Kathmandu, Nepal, November 3, 2020: Central office-bearers’ meeting of the Nepali Congress called for Monday has ended sans discussion on contentious issues related to the upcoming 14th general convention even though the meeting was called for the same purpose.
As Party’s senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel led faction raised issue of free and fair environment for 14th general convention, no discussion was held over the preparations.
The Poudel led faction had registered a letter demanding free and fair environment for 14th general convention and party operation based on its statute on September 29.
The NC has already called its central working for coming November 6 to discuss about preparation of the upcoming 14th general convention. It is said that the meeting would fix the date for the general convention.
