Kathmandu, Nepal, September 23, 2019: Chairperson of the ruling head Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has revealed that his party lacks clear vision to set up a foundation to socialism.
Dahal has made the statement while addressing a program organized on the occasion of Fifth Memorial Day of communist leader Sahana Pradhan in Kathmandu on Monday.
We would face the same fate as of communist parties from Eastern Europe if we lack clear vision not only in ideology but also in the day to day practice, manner and lifestyle, Dahal said.
Dahal’s statement has come at the time when the party has also been reeling under the internal rift over the ideology of the party.
During the program another senior leader of NCP Jhalanath Khanal underlined the need to expedite activities for gender quality.
