Kathmandu, Nepal, August 19, 2021: Nepal records 2,321 new cases of coronavirus infections from across the country in the past 24 hours; with the addition, nationwide infection tally of the country has advanced to 742,228.
Meanwhile, 2,126 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally of the country has advanced to 691,299.
Likewise, 33 more fatalities related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death toll has advanced to 10,429 with.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 16,438 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 11,946 were PCR tests while 4,492 were antigen tests.
