Kathmandu, Nepal, February 18, 2020: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has embarked on a three-day official visit to neighboring Bangladesh on Monday at the invitation his Bangladeshi counterpart, Dr AK Abdul Momen.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), delegation-level meeting would be held under the leadership of Minister Gyawali in Dhaka on Tuesday.
It is said that scheduled meeting would review overall aspects of the bilateral relation and exchange views on various matters of mutual interest such as energy, trade, transit, connectivity, tourism and cooperation on regional and multilateral issues.
Likewise, Minister Gyawali is also scheduled to deliberate speech on 'Nepal-Bangladesh Relation and South Asian Cooperation' in a program organized by Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies.
The Foreign Minister Gyawali is accompanied by Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi, Joint-Secretary at the Foreign Ministry, Yagya Bahadur Hamal, Joint-Secretary at the Commerce and Supply, Nabaraj Dhakal, and Joint-Secretary at the Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Prabin Aryal.
