Kathmandu, Nepal, December 2, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally has reached to 236,246 after 1,490 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) 1,490 new cases of COVID-19 were detected while conducting 8,300 PCR tests at various labs across the country in the past 24 hours.
Likewise, 1,567 people, who were earlier tested positive for the COVID-19, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has reached to 218,161.
Meanwhile, death toll due to the infection of COVID-19 has reached to 1,538 after nine deaths linked with the virus recorded in the past 24 hours.
