Kathmandu, Nepal, January 17, 2020: Coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 267,322 after 266 new cases reported on Sunday. Of the total newly recorded cases, 91 are females while 175 are males.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) of the newly recorded cases, 177 cases surfaced in Kathmandu valley aloe.
Likewise, 400 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery. With the addition total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 261,444.
Meanwhile, five more fatalities related to the deadly virus reported in the past 24 hours. With the addition, death toll related to the virus advanced to 1,959.
There are currently 3,919 active cases across the country. Of them, 221 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities.
