Kathmandu, Nepal, February 20, 2021: coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 273,351 after 88 new cases reported in the past 24 hours. Of the total newly infected cases, 31 are females while 57 males.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Kathmandu valley alone witnessed 54 new cases. Kathmandu valley has been recording highest number of coronavirus infection cases since the virus detected in Nepal.
Likewise, 136 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 269,755.
There are currently 1,535 active cases across the country. Of them only the 71 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
