Kathmandu, Nepal, March 4, 2021: Coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 274,488 after 107 new cases reported on Thursday.
Of the newly infected cases, 37 are females while 70 are males, the Ministry of Health and Population has said.
Of the total newly infected cases on Thursday, 46 cases were reported in Kathmandu valley alone.
Likewise, 78 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 270,683.
There are currently 795 active cases across the country. Of them, only 57 individuals are staying in quarantine facilities.
Nepal’s death tally due to the infection of coronavirus has reached at 3,010. No fatalities related to the infection of virus have been reported in the past 24 hours.
