Kathmandu, Nepal, June 10, 2021: Nepal's coronavirus infection tally has advanced to 601,687 on Thursday after 2,874 more new cases recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours.

Likewise, 5,293 people, who had earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally of the country has advanced to 515,591.

Similarly, 59 fresh fatalities related to the coronavirus infection have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has advanced to 8,238.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 2,874 new infection cases were identified while conducting 15,238 total tests. Of which, 9,901 were PCR tests while 5,337 were antigen tests, the MoHP has stated. 

There are currently 77,858 active cases across the country. Of them, 634 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
