Kathmandu, Nepal, June 17, 2021: Nepal's coronavirus infection tally has reached to 619,635 after 1,688 more new infection cases recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours on Saturday.
Meanwhile, 3,660 people, who had get infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has reached to 553,342.
Likewise, 34 more fatalities related to the coronavirus infection have been recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death toll has reached to 8,675.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) 11,696 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of which, 7,010 were PCR tests while 4,686 were antigen tests. So far Nepal government has conducted a total of 3,262,589 PCR tests till date.
