Kathmandu, Nepal June 7, 2022: Nepal has defeated Bhutan by four wickets in a match played at the Kinrara Oval Ground in Malaysia under the ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers on Monday. 

In the match, Nepal achieved 13.1 overs at the loss of six wickets by chasing the 67-run target posted by Bhutan. Sanu Rajbamshi hit the highest 30 runs while Sana Prabin and Srishti Jaisi posted 18 and 8 runs respectively. 

For Bhutan, Sangay Wangmo took three wickets while Sonam and Anjuli Ghailey one each wickets. Bhutan made 66 runs in the allotted 20 overs losing nine wickets by choosing to bat after winning the toss.

For Bhutan, Captain Ngawang Choden and Wangmo hit 11 runs each while Pema Yanchen and Chado Om contributed nine and six runs each respectively. For Nepal, Kritika Marasini, Anu Kadayat and Manisha Kumari Upadhyay claimed two wickets each. 

With the winning, Nepal secured two wins and suffered a loss out of three matches played so far. Nepal and Thailand are playing match today. Hosts Malaysia, the UAE, Thailand, Bhutan, Qatar and Nepal have participated in the qualifiers match.
