Kathmanu, Nepal, June 20, 2020: Government of Nepal has expressed its confidence that disputes between neighboring India and China will be resolved through peaceful means.
Issuing a press statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has stated to this effect.
Nepal has made its position clear over the issue of border disputes between Nepal and China in the midst of the ongoing India-China border tension that has already claimed the lives of 20 Indian army personnel during skirmish in the Galwan Valley area on last Monday.
‘Friendly neighbors’ India and China will be able to resolve their mutual differences through peaceful means in favor of bilateral, regional and world peace and stability, states the press statement further adding that Nepal is confident that both the neighboring countries will resolve, in the spirit of good neighborliness, their mutual differences through peaceful means in favor of bilateral, regional and world peace and stability.
