Kathmandu, Nepal, July, 6, 2019: 84th birthday celebration programs of the Dalai Lama, the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader is obstructed by the Nepal government. 

Nepal government has mobilized heavy security forces in different parts of the country with the aim not to allow organizing the birthday celebration program of Dalai Lama. 

As Tibetan refugees and people of Tibetan origin reside in Nepal were preparing to mark Dalai Lama’s birthday on Saturday, the government has beefed up security forces in Kathmandu valley, particularly the Swambhu and Baudha not to allow doing so. 

Tibetan refugees and people of Tibetan origin used to mark their spiritual leader Dalai Lama’s birthday with different functions.  

The 14th Dalai Lama, who was previously known as Lhamo Thondup, was born on 6 July 1935.  Now, he has been taking refuge in Dharamshala of India.
