Kathmandu, Nepal, july 23, 2022: The government of Nepal has expressed grief over the loss of lives due to the devastating earthquake in Afghanistan on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has issued a message through the twitter stating as ‘Nepal is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives due to the devastating earthquake in Afghanistan. We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families and wish for the speedy recovery of the injured. Nepali people stand in solidarity with the people of Afghanistan in this difficult hour.’
As the magnitude 6.1 earthquakes that struck the south-east part of Afghanistan early on Wednesday making center the area about 44 km from the city of Khost, more than thousand persons have confirmed dead. The authorities have believed that the deal toll would exceed further.
