Kathmandu, Nepal: the government of Nepal has made a mandatory provision those marshals of all the Provinces have to follow the dress code by wearing Daura Suruwal and Sari Cholo during assembly.
A cabinet meeting held on Monday made the mandatory decision reiterating that the Daura Suruwal and Sari Cholo has to wear by the government officials including the marshals during the assembly meeting.
The government’s decision has come responding to the decision of the province 2 that they would not allow to wear the Daura Suruwal and Sari Cholo even to the marshals during the assembly meeting.
The Cabinet meeting has also decided to declare the government employees including Nepal Army personnel, Armed Police personnel, Nepal Police, civil servants and teachers who lost their lives during the insurgency period as martyrs.
Similarly, the meeting has also passed a decision to extend the term of Truth and Reconciliation Council (TRC) and Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP) by one year.
