Kathmandu, Nepal: The government has on Thursday slashed the price of cooking Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs 50 per cylinder. 
 
A meeting of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) management on Thursday afternoon took the decision to this effect. The decision is effective from Thursday midnight. 
 
With the adjustment of the rate, a cylinder of LPG will cost Rs 1,325 in the domestic market.
