Kathmandu, Nepal, Dec 11, 2019: The government has decided to honor the medalists of the recently held 13th South Asian Games (SAG) with monetary prizes of Rs 900,000 on Wednesday.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli announced the cash prizes as a gesture of encouragement to the medalists of the recently held 13th SAG by inviting all the winners at his official residence, Baluwatar.
As per the announcement made by the Prime Minister Oli, all the gold medalists of the SAG will receive a cash prize of Rs 900,000 while the silver and bronze medalists will receive the prize of Rs 600,000 and Rs 300,000 respectively. Likewise, all the players that have won two or more than two gold medals will receive Rs 1,100,000. Nepal had won 51 gold medals with second position.
