Kathmandu, Nepal, December 22, 2020: Owing to the new strain of the novel coronavirus discovered in the United Kingdom (UK), Nepal government has also implemented travel restrictions from the country.
Issuing a press release on Tuesday, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has stated that travel restrictions are implemented to and from the UK for an indefinite period.
It is stated that the entry restriction will go into effect from the midnight of 23rd December until further notice.
Earlier some countries, namely the Canada, France, Germany, and South Africa including India had decided to implement travel restrictions from the UK.
