Kathmandu, Nepal, December 23, 2019: Nepal Police have on Monday arrested 122 Chinese nationals from different parts in Kathmandu valley for engaging on suspicious activities by overstaying illegally in Nepal.
A joint team of Nepal Police deployed from Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD) and Metropolitan Police Range apprehended the Chinese nationals from Gongabu and Thamel areas. According to the police, almost all the Chinese nationals found to have overstayed in Nepal for unlawful business activities.
According to Police, almost of all arrestees have found involved in different unlawful business activities. It is suspected that the numbers of overstaying Chinese nationals would exceed than the number arrested on Monday.
