Dang, Nepal, October 17, 2019: At least two dozen leaders and cadres of the outlawed Netra Bikram Chanda led Nepal Communist Party (NCP) have been arrested from Dang district.
According to the Dang Police, the arrested include NCP’s western commander Chief Chandra Bahadur Chand, who is the brother of NCP General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand.
It is said that police arrested them while they were holding a meeting at Rajpur rural municipality of the party on Wednesday night. Among the arrested, six were identified as the Central Committee Member (CCM) of the party.
