Kathmandu, Nepal, January 31, 2022: Nepal has ranked as the 110th most corrupt country out of 180 countries across the world.
According to the Transparency International (TI) worldwide report published on today, Nepal has got just 34 score out of 100.
In the Corruption Perceptions Index- 2021 (CPI 2021), Nepal's score was 33 or 117th place.
As per the CPI, Denmark has been listed as the least corrupt country with 90 points while Somalia has been listed as the most corrupt country with 12 points.
In the context of South Asia, Nepal ranks in the fifth position. Butan is least as the least corrupt among the south Asian countries.
