Kathmandu, Nepal, June 24, 2021: Nepal recorded 1,577 new coronavirus infection cases from across the country in the past 24 hours on Thursday. With the addition, nationwide tally of coronavirus infection has advanced to 629,431.

Meanwhile, 2,518 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide, recovery tally has advanced to 570,958.
 
Likewise, 24 fatalities related to the coronavirus infection have been recovered from across the country in the past 24 hours. With the addition, death toll related to the coronavirus infection has reached to 8,918.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) 12,232 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 7,235 were PCR tests while 4,997 were antigen tests, the MoJP has stated. 

There are currently 49,555 active cases across the country. Of them, only 388 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
