Kathmandu, Nepal, August 23, 2021: Nepal records 2020 new cases of coronavirus infection from across the country in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide infection tally ahs advanced to 751001.
Meanwhile, 35 more fatalities related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death tally ahs advanced to 10568.
Likewise, 2086 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, recovery tally of the country has advanced to 702183.
There are currently 38250 active cases across the country. Of the total active cases only 395 individuals are staying in institutional quarantine facilities.
