Kathmandu, Nepal, July 7, 2021: Nepal recorded 2,077 new cases of coronavirus infections from across the country in the past 24 hours on Wednesday. With the addition, coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 650,162.
Meanwhile, 1,333 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, recovery tally of the country has advanced to 614,327.
Likewise, 28 more deaths of coronavirus infections have been recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours on Thursday. With the addition, death toll related to the coronavirus infection has advanced to 9,291.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 11,898 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 7,835 were PCR tests while 4,063 were antigen tests.
There are currently 26,544 active cases across the country. Of them, only 323 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
