Kathmandu, Nepal, July 24, 2021: Nepal records 2,309 new coronavirus infection cases from across the country in the past 24 hours on Saturday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 679,017.

Meanwhile, 2,197 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 641,565.

Likewise, 16 more deaths related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 9,695.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), there are currently 27,757 active cases across the country. Of the total active cases, only 344 individuals are staying in various institutional quarantine facilities while remaining others are staying either in home quarantine or getting treatment at hospitals.
