Kathmandu, Nepal, June 22, 2021: Nepal's coronavirus infection tally has advanced to 626,343 after 3,703 more new infection cases reported from across the country in the past 24 hours on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, 4,954 people, who were infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has reached to 564,882. 

Similarly, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus advanced to 8,813 after 41 more deaths related to the coronavirus infection recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) altogether 16,913 total tests were conducted froma cross the country in the last 24 hours. Of which, 12,204 were PCR tests while 4,709 were antigen tests, the MoHP has informed. 

There are currently 52,648 active cases across the country. Of them, only 425 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
