Kathmandu, Nepal, September 27, 2021: Nepal records 975 new coronavirus infection cases from across the country in the past 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has reached to 792,367.
Meanwhile, 1,262 persons, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 762,416.
Similarly, deaths toll related to the coronavirus infections has reached to 11,103 after seven more deaths reported from across the country.
There are currently 18,848 active cases of coronavirus infection across the country. Of them only 356 infected persons have been staying in institutional quarantine facilities.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 15,488 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 12,081 were PCR tests while 3,407 were antigen tests, the MoHP has stated. A total of 4,174,503 PCR tests have been carried out so far.
