Kathmandu, Nepal, September 20, 2021: Nepal records 975 new coronavirus infection cases from across the country in the past 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 785541.

Of the total newly infected cases, 396 cases were recorded in the Kathmandu Valley alone. According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 298 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, 63 in Bhaktapur and 35 in Lalitpur districts.

Meanwhile, 2957 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 752170. 

Similarly, 8 more deaths related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death tally has advanced to 11048. 

There are currently 22323 active cases of coronavirus infections across the country. Of the total active cases, only 264 individuals are staying in institutional quarantine facilities.
