Kathmandu, Nepal, June 17, 2020: Nepal has reported 671 new positive cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in 24 hours on Thursday. This is the single-day highest spike till the date since the deadly virus begun spread in Nepal.
With the newly identified cases, the nationwide tally of COVID-19 has reached to 7,848. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, among the newly infected cases 591 are males while 80 are females.
With the new cases, total numbers of coronavirus positive male patients are 7,229 while number of female is 619.
In the meantime, total death toll of the coronavirus has reached to 22 with two more death confirmed of positive for the virus.
