Kathmandu, Nepal, July 11, 2022: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that his party will not forge unity with the CPN Maoist Center or others before the upcoming federal and provincial level election.
Speaking at a press conference in Dhangadi on Monday, Nepal said ‘there wouldn't be any unification with any party including the CPN Maoist Center.’
‘There is no necessary to increase their heartbeat over talks of a so-called unification with CPN Maoist Center,’ he said.
However, he did not ruled out the unification of party after the election. ‘There won't be any unification with any party at least before the election; he said ‘we can't rule out discussions towards that end after the polls though.’
During the function, he also expressed his optimism that incumbent coalition would continue even after the upcoming elections. ‘Incumbent coalition will remain as long as the House exists,’ he said.
