Kathmandu, Nepal, November 1, 2021: The Nepal Army and the US Army have started a month-long joint drill related to disaster risk management named as 'Ex-Teak Nail-2022' at  Chhauni of Kathmandu based Ranger Battalion of the Nepal Army from Monday. 

The 70 Army personnel- 50 from the Nepal Army and 20 from the US Army will sharpen up their skills pertaining to rescue operations in high-hilly and mountainous areas, the Nepal Army has stated. The joint drill will end on November 30.

According to the press release issued by the Nepal Army, the participants will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge related to water, search and rescue in high-hilly and mountainous areas.
