Kathmandu, Nepal, May 6, 2020: Nepali Congress (NC), the main opposition party in the federal parliament, has drawn the attention of the government to make necessary arrangements to bring back home the Nepali nationals who have left in a miserable condition in various labor destinations due to the global pandemic of corona virus (COVID-19).
NC president Sher Bahadur Deuba draws the attention of the government via telephone conversation with Prime Minister K P Oli on Wednesday. Deuba asked the government to make an appropriate plan to bring home about 3,000 Nepalese nationals living in a miserable condition in Kuwait, states the press release issued by the party.
During the conversation NC President Deuba also drew attention of the government to further expand the scope of PCR tests among people suspected of COVID-19 infection across the country and to facilitate return of Nepali nationals kept at quarantine in India.
