Kathmandu, Nepal: Nepali Congress, the main opposition party in the parliament, has begun to raise the demand of the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Addressing a parliament meeting in New Baneshwar on Wednesday, Nepali Congress lawmaker Amaresh Kumar Singh demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Oli on moral ground arguing that the government had violated the constitutional provision.
Singh has a claim that the restriction of Lenin Bista, former Maoist combatant, from going abroad is the anti constitutional act. Though the constitution has guaranteed the right to the Nepali citizen to go abroad but Bista was restricted at the airport from going abroad without any obvious reason, Singh said.
Likewise, he also criticized the government for failing to mention the good governance in the country as promised by the Prime Minister Oli.
