Kathmandu, Nepal, April 3, 2020: Nepali Congress Central Committee Member Shekhar Koirala has asked the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to sack his IT consultant Asgar Ali for his alleged involvement in removing of news content from kathmandupress.com, a Kathmandu based online news portal.
Issuing a press statement on Friday, Koirala has stated that removing of news content is a sheer violation of freedom of press and expression. Prime Minister Oli should take a necessary step for action against the Shiran Technologies for its involvement in removing the news, states the press release.
