Kathmandu, Nepal: The Nepali Congress (NC) is going to finalize its candidates for second phase of local level elections scheduled for June 28.
A meeting of the incumbent and former office-bearers of the party held at the party central office, Sanepa on Thursday took this decision.
It is said that the meeting has reached on the conclusion to finalize the candidates in Province No 1, 5 and 7 by tomorrow and candidates for Province No 2 within few days.
During the meeting parties senior leaders including president Sher Bahadur Deuba, senior leader Ramchandra Poudel, general secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala, Treasurer Sita Devi Yadav and many others were present.
