Kathmandu, Nepal: The Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the Nepali Congress kicks off at Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s official residence, Baluwatar, Kathmandu, on Thursday.
As the CWC meeting is the first after the recently held elections to the House of Representatives and provincial assemblies, it is believed that the meeting would hold discussions on ranges of issues including the election results.
Some leaders of the including the senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel had exerted pressure to the party leadership to call the central committee meeting immediately to access the election results, in which the party has suffered most.
It is said that the meeting will also finalize the candidates of to be held national assembly members.
