Kathmandu, Nepal, February 14, 2023: The Nepali National Women’s Football Team is going to face senior Indian Women’s National Team in the two day FIFA friendlies match scheduled on February 15 and 18 at the Chennai based Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium of India.
To take part in the match, the Nepali National Women’s Football Team has left for India on Monday. The team includes Ananta Raj Thapa as a head coach while Anjila Tumbapo Subba is the captain. Anjana Rana Magar and Usha Nath are the goalkeepers.
Similarly, Gita Rana, Nisha Thokar, Hira Kumari Bhujel, Ghim Kumari Gurung, Amrita Jaisi, Bimala BK and Samikshha Ghimire are defenders.
Bimala Chaudhary, Sabita Rana Magar, Saru Limbu, Dipa Shahi, Renuka Nagarkoti, Anita Basnet, Preeti Rai and Anita KC are midfielders while Amisha Karki, Rekha Poudel, Sabitra Bhandari, Rashmi Kumari Ghising and Nirmla BK are the forwards.
